ABSTRACT
‘The thick forest we had before had gone. The reason why the forest had gone was that the number of people who settled here increased and the Europeans started to rule us. People became relaxed and happy because there were no more wars with the warlike nomads. Also the amount of farming increased and within three months one farmer can destroy many trees. During the dry season the trees are burnt down until all the forest had gone completely.’
