ABSTRACT
Any form of rounded academic education should ensure that graduates leave University with excellent communication skills. Legal education at the academic stage provides you with several different opportunities to develop your oral skills. In addition, should you intend to pursue a career in law, the vocational stage of legal training majors on assessing students as they engage in a large number of oral exercises that test competency in communication, acquisition of correct legal knowledge and application of that knowledge. It is therefore essential that law students can perform well, not only during examinations and written assessments, but also during oral assessments.
