ABSTRACT
On 19 January 1994, Tianjin City Refrigerator Industrial Company (hereinafter RIC) and Hong Kong Huizhan Limited Company (hereinafter HZ) signed an agreement to invest a total amount of US$28 million to establish Xin Xing Guang International Building (Tianjin) Limited Company (hereinafter XXG). XXG planned to construct a skyscraper, Xin Xing Guang International Building (the building), with a total area of 30,800 m2 at the site of Ke Nai Restaurant.
