ABSTRACT

Activity 1 Students may work individually, or in pairs. They each select a box to work with. 2 Assist students to carefully open up the box and see what shapes they can identify. 3 Instruct students to draw the shapes on a piece of paper or to identify them by

matching them with the plane shapes that were examined in part one of the lesson. The shapes to be identified are rectangles, squares, circles and some triangles (depending on the type of packaging being investigated).
