Goodwin's structural economic dynamics in the context of globalization

In this chapter we explore a model which had its origins in joint work with Richard Goodwin during the 1990s (see Landesmann and Goodwin (1994) and Landesmann et al. (1997)) and which has developed further in a number of contributions by the authors of this chapter (see Landesmann and Stehrer (2000), Stehrer (2002a, 2002b), Landesmann and Stehrer (2002, 2004a, 2004b, 2007a, 2007b).
