ABSTRACT
BA employs a distinctly behavioral terminology, with which many readers may be unfamiliar. Thus, this Point de®nes some basic terms that will be used and described in more detail throughout this book. These de®nitions are not intended to be technical descriptions, but rather to provide an understanding at a level that will facilitate clinical work and increase the usefulness of the remainder of this book. The list below may serve as a reference that can be returned to when tripped up at any point by behavioral terminology.
