ABSTRACT
For this reason,an assessment sheet has been included that can be completed by the teacher at the end of each session or at the end of a series of circle times. It is quite an open sheet and is mainly for the teacher to make short notes on any children they feel have made exceptional contributions to the session by way of their responses; children whose responses they feel have improved; children who have taken little or no part in the session; and children they have particular concerns about.
