ABSTRACT

Diffi culties with written language along with diffi culties in reading are probably the two major reasons pupils feel discouraged and inadequate in the classroom.

Being able to produce good written language is, of course, a very important part of success at school and in the world beyond. What about the pupils who have diffi culty putting their ideas on paper? Many are talented and knowledgeable, others less so. All, however, need to be able to share their ideas with others, both in speaking and in writing.
