ABSTRACT

The particular ways in which depression-prone people tend to process their experience creates both an increased vulnerability to relapse and, once depression is re-established, the factors that maintain it. The speci®c intention of MBCT is to provide participants with a means to work effectively with these processes at times of potential depressive relapse.
