ABSTRACT

International cooperation in Argentina is a recent process, with the first documented supported activi ties being at the end of the 1960s. Then, with the interruption of democracy in the mid-1970s, there were no initiatives supported by international cooperation. The management and support of pro jects resumed with the reinstatement of democracy in December 1983. Many activities have been developed over the last 13 years in different areas and with varying results. Numerous projects have been directed towards the fight against poverty, which the international community has been allowed to evaluate. This has enabled it to make its support more efficient, as this report will show.
