ABSTRACT
With the presentation of the new budget, Dutch Minister for Development Cooperation Jan Pronk characterised Dutch aid by three priorities. The first is to provide assistance to a large group of the world’s poorest countries, the second is to support social sectors like health and education, and the third is to help channel commercial funding towards poorer countries.
