ABSTRACT
French ODA reached 37 billion francs 1 (US$6.35 billion) in 1997. This commitment amounted to 0.45% of GNR which places France in sixth place behind Denmark, Norway, the Netherlands, Sweden and Luxembourg, and at the top of G7 donors.
