Comparing security concepts of China and the U.S.A.

This chapter examines Sino-U.S. relations from the perspective of the security outlooks of the two countries. It will present the features of the Chinese security concepts and outlook, then analyze the major debating points and differences between the two sides, and finally assess the prospects for Sino-U.S. relations by putting security affairs in the wider context of the increasing interdependence between China and the U.S.A.
