ABSTRACT
Human behaviour everywhere is based on very similar, if not identical mechanisms. But context, history, culture and traditions, as well as characteristics of geographical position, climate, nature and landscapes, or economical, political and social evolution make the idea or objectives of sustainable development or sustainable urbanism in different places rather different.
