ABSTRACT
The basic principles of solar heating systems are described in the following sections. The fundamentals of their construction are shown in examples, which cover many, but not all, possibilities. The number of system variants is so wide that not all related variants can be dealt with. System dimensioning, the function and design of the individual system components and the experience in long-term operation are all considered in detail in subsequent sections.
