ABSTRACT
Some aspects related to the representation of language and the construction of Self and Other on the basis of language overlap with religious polemics, inasmuch as religious categories and biblical types are brought into the description of language, and also due to the fact that issues such as language origin and the idea of the most beautiful language are an object of contention in the interconfessional debate.
