ABSTRACT
This chapter will discuss the importance of creating the right atmosphere and ethos for the group work process to be effective. It will include information about setting up groups and will focus on the importance of building genuine relationships with all concerned parties in order to make the intervention an enjoyable process which is effective for all concerned. It will include the children’s stories which unfolded during the intervention and comments from the children themselves, their parents/carers and school staff.
