ABSTRACT
In this chapter we will analyze the way that spelling facilitates growth in reading. There will be four approaches, (1) Introductory Review, (2) A Longitudinal Study of the Development of Spelling, Reading and Phonological Awareness, (3) Clinical Observations of Children's Spelling Attempts, (4) A Longitudinal Study of Pattern and Prediction of Spelling Errors.
