ABSTRACT

Canon 2 (# 422) If anyone does not confess that God the Word was engendered twice, the [first] from the Father before the ages in a nontemporal and non-corporeal sense, and the [other] in these last days, with the very same [Word] descending from the heavens, becoming incarnate from the holy, glorious mother of God, the ever-virgin Mary, and being generated from the same, let such a one be anathema!
