ABSTRACT
Sex is, for many of us, like art or pornography. We may not be able to define it with any scientific accuracy, but we think we know it when we see it. In fact, we think that sex is so simple that we come up with expressions like “men are from Mars and women are from Venus.” But is it really that simple? And what exactly does a phrase like that refer to anyway – sex, gender, or something else?
