Co-operation, networks and learning regions: Network analysis as a method for investigating structures of interaction

In discussions on continuing education, co-operation and networks are often associated with normative guidelines and idealistic descriptions. This would seem to be in contrast to the apparently naive descriptive-analytical approach of network analysis. Correspondingly, network-analytical work has been given a rather hesitant reception in continuing education research.
