ABSTRACT
The principal aim for the whole school curriculum as set out in the Education Reform Act (1988) (ERA) is to promote the:
spiritual, moral, cultural, mental and physical development of pupils and of society, and prepare pupils for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of adult life. (Clause 1. 2.b)
