Inclusive Education for Children with Special Educational Needs in the Early Years

The purpose of this chapter is to explore two themes relating to early years education and special educational needs (SEN). The first and central theme is:

that the principles which inform early years education can be seen to provide for the whole of education a model of genuine inclusion, for those children identified as having SEN.
