ABSTRACT
A room in Doogans house. GAR O’DONNELL, the main character in the play, is denoted by two characters, PUBLIC (GAR) and PRIVATE (GAR). These represent two views o f the one man. PUBLIC (GAR) is the man that people see and talk to - PRIVATE (GAR) is the unseen man, the man within, the conscience, the secret thoughts.
