ABSTRACT
The horizontal effect of human rights (Drittwirkung) is subject to dispute in Danish law as in other jurisdictions.1 The implementation of human rights in relations between individuals has been met with scepticism in legal doctrine, although neither legislation nor judicial practice has rejected the horizontal effect of human rights.
