ABSTRACT

Life is a state of continual ¯ux, where change is at the core of everything. How do we think about, accommodate, absorb, adjust to, embrace, promote or resist change?

These are the profound and yet commonplace questions that those of us who take on the task of using, and creating drama professionally with other people, have to ask. There is a responsibility to account for both the de®nition and the process of practice, and inevitably these are subject to the thinking of our times.
