ABSTRACT

Drama can help enormously in the building of confidence in people of any age. Learning to express yourself more clearly and practising speech and movement skills are valuable aids to developing good self-esteem. Role play situations can help with preparing for or recovering from difficult or worrying experiences, giving you the ability to ‘move on’ and use new skills to cope more easily in the future. Developing the imagination and flexibility to adapt to any situation quickly and do your best to join in or make things work out is an empowering life skill best learned as early as possible.
