ABSTRACT

Very young children are naturally very expressive and will readily display their emotions for all to see, particularly when they are excited, displeased or upset! They can have a lot of fun learning to express themselves without sound or speech in a variety of games and activities. This will also help them gradually to learn to develop self-control in certain situations, to communicate with others of all ages and from all walks of life and to understand and empathise with other people’s feelings.
