ABSTRACT
14.1 Part 13 of the CA 2006 is concerned with resolutions and meetings of a company, and comprises seven Chapters. Chapter 1 deals with general provisions about resolutions in their application to private and public companies, including various types of resolutions; Chapter 2 contains provisions on written resolutions; Chapter 3 addresses resolutions at meetings as well as procedures for meetings; Chapter 4 is concerned with public companies with specific reference to additional requirements for AGMs; Chapter 5 contains additional requirements for quoted companies; Chapter 6 deals with records of resolutions and meetings; and Chapter 7 contains supplemented provisions.
