ABSTRACT

This chapter emerges from the three-year Research Consortium on Workplace Learning which was run by the Learning Lab Denmark from September 2001 to the end of 2004. The consortium involved eleven senior researchers and fi ve graduate students, included sixteen empirical projects and, in addition to the project reports, published four edited books, several articles, a special issue of the Journal of Workplace Learning (Ellström and Illeris 2004), and a fi nal book, Learning in Working Life, which also came out in an English edition (Illeris et al. 2004).
