Ways to record evidence of progress

Induction tutors need to monitor the NQT’s progress towards meeting the Standards and use this information to inform the termly assessment forms. There are different ways to do this. Observation of teaching is a crucial form of evidence, but cannot be used to monitor all the Standards. Figure 8.1 highlights some of the different forms of evidence for each standard.
