ABSTRACT
Personalization is often portrayed as the next big thing in e-learning. It has a number of attractions, and plays to the strengths of e-learning. Although a one-on-one tutor is perhaps the most personalized situation you can achieve, it is not very scaleable. Through automation e-learning has the potential to offer personalization on a large scale.
