ABSTRACT

In our final chapter we move on to look at presenting and applying the results of a school-based research project. After all, having spent a considerable time wrestling with concepts and doing fieldwork you are likely to want to see your findings being used to improve the quality of education for pupils with SEN. The chapter focuses on five main themes (Figure 5.1):

Interpreting and writing up your findings;

Disseminating research findings to others;

Putting research into practice;

Personal and professional development;

Reflection and moving forward.
