Technical experience, knowledge and understanding and skill; this depends on how relevant your degree was to the career you plan to follow. If it is directly relevant, you need to show that you can master the knowledge and research skills required for the role you want. Business acumen, organisation and commercial awareness, plus an understanding of how organisations work. Personal skills, such as leadership, management, the ability to plan your time etc. – the transferable skills mentioned on page 20. The passion, go-getting approach to make it happen!
