Writing and editing

So, at last, you’re ready to start actual writing. About time too, you may say. You have files, hard or computer, which contain sketches, plans, experiments in shape and in style. There may be character analyses, background research into subject matter or location. Thus armed, you should feel confident that you can make informed decisions about how to start your piece. And also reassured that if you choose the wrong place it will not be a disaster, just another experiment from which you will learn something.
