ABSTRACT
This is an advanced piece of work and will require pupils trying some of the easier algebraic investigations in order to obtain maximum benefit from this piece. The pupils will benefit from having worked on Pond Borders and the T-shape piece of work prior to this one. As you will see the algebra can be taken to a high level and you may wish to teach some of the concepts to able pupils before they start this work, e.g. multiplying out brackets.
