ABSTRACT
Zimbabwe is a tropical land-locked country situated in south-central Africa. It is 389,000 km2 in area, 715 km north-south and 830 km east-west. Zimbabwe is in the same latitude as Paraguay in South America and Queensland in Australia and lies between 15° 35′ and 22° 30′S.
