ABSTRACT

Introduction Organisational and environmental factors have been considered as determinants of innovation in organisations. However, innovation literature offers a diversity of results about the relationship of innovation and some of these theoretical variables. Therefore, the main issue of this chapter is to evaluate the extent to which these theoretical variables produce heterogeneity between results of innovation studies. So we propose a meta-analytical review of organisational innovation, which includes potential moderator variables belonging to the internal environment of the company and others related with the market in which the organisation is immersed.
