ABSTRACT

If it appears that the future is unpredictable and that a management which is ‘control oriented’ does not address real problems, because the ‘better’ path does not exist, what is left to us as a manager? If the construction of models (axiomatic systems) is always more and more sophisticated in order to contribute less and less to our understanding, or if more and more frequent use of more complicated rules does not improve our understanding, what is left to us?
