ABSTRACT
All studios have facilities around the floor area and sometimes on the lighting grid for interconnecting audio lines to the sound control room. Naturally, they vary from organization to organization, but the basic facilities will include balanced lines to the control room, dedicated talkback lines, often dedicated foldback lines, video feeds and often mains and phantom powering for microphones, although it is common for microphone powering to come down the microphone lines from the remote mixer desk.
