Rising Expectations, Relative Deprivation And Reduction Of Power Distance

In the study of social movements and conflicts, there is a curious phenomenon. Not those who are the most deprived from an objective point of view, but especially those who have already tasted a larger piece of the cake, feel the most that they have been treated unfairly. This fact is perhaps not entirely contrary to what many, Marxist theoreticians among them, think, but it is at least a complication in their ideas.
