ABSTRACT
The paper describes the Danish quality assurance scheme for the installation of solar heating systems.
The objective of the scheme is to contribute to ensuring and, if necessary, improving the quality when mainly small solar systems are being installed.
The main content of the scheme is to ensure purchasers of solar systems that the installations fulfil specific requirements as to quality. There are thus demands as to:
the utilization of special quality assurance schemes
employing masters/skilled plumbers who hold a certificate
that the system is part of an inspection scheme
that the buyer is offered a service subscription
