ABSTRACT
In this system air circulates, by natural or mechanical driving forces, through the collector, the ceiling channels, the room space and back to the collector. The mass of the ceiling discharges heat with a time lag of a few hours, mainly by radiation. A large fraction of heat is supplied to the rooms by hot air from ceiling storage channels. In summer collector hot air is vented outdoors through upper and lower dampers, open or closed seasonally.
