ABSTRACT
Secondary education is the stage between the primary or elementary phase of education and higher or university education. Secondary schooling has a long history and there is now a wide range of different types of secondary school, other than the category that one government spokesman in the late twentieth century called the ‘bog standard comprehensive school’ (see website below).
