ABSTRACT
Attention is being drawn with increasing frequency to the phenomenon of an, the or many anti-globalisation movement/s. While the term globalisation suggests some common process happening everywhere, exactly what that involves necessarily varies widely according to context – the world, as many have pointed out, is becoming ‘globalised’, but in most respects it is not becoming homogenised. What does this mean for our understanding of what constitutes struggles against globalisation? What kinds of struggles are now being waged, in different parts of our globalised world? What kinds of struggles can now be waged?
