ABSTRACT
This project was unique in a number of ways. First, we chose a liberal definition of ‘injury’ that should be more applicable to the practicing coach. When a situation occurs and the player has to leave the field, the coach considers the player ‘injured’. Many other publications use more conservative definitions of injury such as time lost or an insurance claim.
