ABSTRACT
In this chapter we will consider a number of actions you can take that will assist you to gain the most from your teaching practice experiences, as well as prepare you to begin your first year of teaching. These actions include:
• building effective working relationships (e.g. with your supervising teacher);
• getting to know the organizational structures, roles and relationships; • promoting partnerships with families; • setting personal goals; • developing professionalism.
