Has globalism made architecture’s professional ethics obsolete?

Among the philosophy courses I now teach is Architecture Ethics. The students in that class, would-be architects a year or less from a bachelor’s degree, regularly remind me of how different architects and philosophers are. Because of those reminders, it seems wise to begin this chapter with a few words about what I take the philosopher’s job to be.
