ABSTRACT
This chapter examines some of the issues which may occur in assessing practical work in addition to the guidance on feedback, setting and defining criteria and managing time provided in earlier chapters. A great deal of the staff time in supporting practical learning is directed at supporting and filling gaps in student understanding of any documentation and giving formative feedback to enhance student learning.
