ABSTRACT
FARAH YEGANEH Iranian theatre has become more varied in its styles of expression in recent
years. Some plays are socially minded, some maintain a traditional style, while
the younger generation produce interesting experimental plays on small stages,
and their ambitious artistic endeavours aim at creating an ensemble spirit.
